Who is Philip Booth Esq?

Founded by Phil Booth in 2014, our independent estate agency regularly features as one of the most recommended and well-known brands in Henley-on-Thames. Our business was born from a sense of frustration with mainstream estate agency businesses. Phil had - at that time - been an agent for 26 years and was determined to deliver a quality, reliable and more personal service to our clients. In 2020 he was joined by his wife Emma, and our agency has continued to grow with the addition of 2 further highly experienced senior agents, and expanding our reach into Marlow and beyond.

    My brother and I recently sold Mum’s flat through Philip Booth Esq. This was the only independent estate agent that we approached (along with two of the larger ones). We instantly liked Phil and his colleagues and felt they were the best people to sell Mum’s flat (they had previously sold a properly close-by). Even though Mum’s property was probably one of the cheaper ones Phil was selling, we still felt that he and his colleagues had a genuine interest in selling it. It was nice dealing with a small number of people who knew us/the property and they were very organised, helpful and professional. We had a WhatsApp group that the whole team was part of and it meant that any queries were quickly dealt with. I would thoroughly recommend them.

    Absolutely loved working with Philip Booth Estate Agents in Henley-on-Thames, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a nicer or more supportive team. From start to finish, they were friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about getting things right. Philip runs a great ship and you really feel that personal touch throughout. Emma was an absolute star at keeping everything moving and explaining things clearly, George was super approachable and helpful whenever questions popped up, and Margaret was just lovely, always calm, reassuring, and always on the ball.   • I cannot recommend them enough
    Having just sold our house with Philip Booth estate agents I cannot recommend them enough. We had already viewed houses with them before and found Emma to be professional but above all approachable and positive and really enthusiastic about the house she was selling. This turned out to be the case from the outset when she viewed our house and put it on the market. The photographer she used to market the property enabled the house to look at its best and very soon we had viewings organised. Emma followed up the viewings promptly and offered us feedback and within a couple of weeks had sold the house. What set the service apart from other estate agents was the effort Philip Booth ( Emma in particular in our case ) went to to ensure the chain did not break in difficult circumstances and not only did she have regular conversations with our buyer but also built up a rapport with our vendor offering suggestions so as to ensure a smooth transaction. I can’t thank Emma and Philip enough in relation to the service they offered and would certainly use them again and advise others to do the same. It is rare to find somebody who is prepared to put in the time and effort they did and support you so much through what can be a very stressful and difficult process.
